Emily is the Office Manager & Legal Assistant at Tupman & Bloom LLP in St. John’s. While managing the St. John's location, she also assists lawyers throughout estate and trust administration and litigation, as well as guardianship administration in the provinces of Newfoundland & Labrador and Ontario.
Prior to joining T&B, Emily worked for two years as a Legal Coordinator supporting an Employment & Labour Law group at a national law firm based out of Toronto, where she assisted lawyers who advise on all aspects of employment relationships in both unionized and non-unionized settings.
Emily's interest in the legal industry stemmed from her years of experience working across various divisions of the Newfoundland & Labrador Department of Justice & Public Safety. Following that, Emily worked in the Judgement Enforcement Unit at the Office of the High Sheriff, and further administrated jury selection processes at the Supreme Court. She then moved to the Court Services Division at the Provincial Court, and completed her public sector career in Administrative Services at Her Majesty's Penitentiary.
She is currently completing her Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University.
In her free time, Emily enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family, and staying active.
