Anne is an associate lawyer at Tupman & Bloom LLP. She joined the firm in 2024 after practicing administrative law and civil litigation at a prominent mid-sized law firm, with an emphasis on professional regulation and defamation cases. Anne has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, in addition to numerous tribunals and boards.
Before being called to the bar, Anne was a judicial law clerk at the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto, Ontario where she worked on complex civil, criminal, and family law matters. While at the Court, Anne also co-authored a chapter of Civil Procedure and Practice in Ontario, a publication on CanLII. Prior to clerking, Anne spent several months representing human rights claimants at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre in Toronto, Ontario and she summered at a full-service law firm in Vancouver, B.C.
Anne obtained her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she received awards for her academic work. While at Osgoode, she also acted as the President of the Constitutional Law Society and an executive member of the Osgoode Feminist Collective. Prior to attending Osgoode, she received her M.A. from McMaster University and her B.A. from the University of Toronto.
Anne is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society, and the Junior Trusts and Estates Practitioners Group.
In her free time, Anne enjoys swimming and cycling, spending time outdoors, and exploring new restaurants.
