Allison is an associate lawyer at Tupman & Bloom LLP.
She joined the firm in 2024. She previously gained valuable experience at a general practice law firm, where she focused on estate planning, estate administration, as well as civil and estate litigation.
Allison received her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Bishop’s University and her Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick. During her first year of law school, she received the ‘Top Negotiator’ award in the International Negotiations Competition at UNB Law. Throughout law school, she volunteered at the National Canadian Lawyers’ Initiative and Pro Bono Students Canada, where she concentrated on immigration law and corporate compensation plans. Allison co-led the UNB Environmental Law Society and served as a Peer Mentor for incoming law students. In her final year, she participated in the Community Clinic Internship with the Elizabeth Fry Society of St. John, New Brunswick.
Allison has represented clients in various courts, including the Nova Scotia Supreme Court, Nova Scotia Supreme Court (Family Division), Probate Court, and Small Claims Court.
Allison remains actively involved in the Canadian Bar Association and its Advocacy Committee. She also volunteers with the Nova Scotia SPCA College of Animal Welfare on its Animal Care Committee.
In her personal time, Allison enjoys hiking, experimenting with new recipes, and playing trivia.
