Olivia Brown is a Summer Law Student at Tupman & Bloom LLP. She has recently completed her second year of law school at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. Prior to starting law school, Olivia also completed her Bachelor of Arts at Queen’s University. After finishing her undergraduate degree, Olivia held a policy role within the federal government. She remained in this role throughout her first year of law school and held a similar role in another government department during the summer following her first year of law school.
In her time at law school, Olivia has been involved with Pro Bono Students Canada, the Queen’s Law Journal, and numerous clubs. In her second year of law school, Olivia was a student caseworker for the Queen’s Family Law Clinic. In this role, she assisted self-represented litigants by preparing the documents for their applications and motions to change for decision-making responsibility, parenting time, and child support. Olivia was also a co-president of the Queen’s Law Cancer Society, where she took a lead role in planning events to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. On top of these commitments, Olivia worked as a Teaching Assistant for two undergraduate law courses at Queen’s University.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys painting, trying out new coffee shops, and spending as much time outdoors as she can.
