Samuel received a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University, with a major concentration in History and a minor concentration in Economics. During the summers, Samuel worked in Music Publishing and Insolvency & Restructuring before ultimately deciding to attend law school. Following his first year at Osgoode Hall he worked in the legal department of a global engineering firm, where he gained invaluable experience drafting and revising legal documents, and conducting legal research.

In his second year of law school, Samuel became the Section Editor of the Arts & Culture section of the Obiter Dicta, Osgoode Hall’s student newspaper and one of the oldest student newspapers in North America. He has always enjoyed writing, especially on the topics of music, sports, and American history. In his third and final year at Osgoode Hall, Samuel will be the Editor-In-Chief of the Obiter Dicta.

In his free time, Samuel enjoys listening to music and playing the guitar, participating in basketball or football games, reading, watching movies and TV shows, and playing board games – specifically, the board game “Go.”
